REFLEXOLOGY - FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Are you a doctor?
I am not a doctor. If you have questions about any medical condition you are unsure of please seek professional medical treatment. Sessions are, however, strictly confidential.
What happens during a typical Reflexology session?
Sessions are 60 minutes. You recline on a bed or couch and I do a quick intake regarding any particular areas of concern (foot or health issues/tension areas). I then apply pressure (the amount is up to you and your comfort level) to reflex points on your feet. Pressing a reflex is like pressing a doorbell, a light tap is as effective as a hard press to activate it. During a session I cover every reflex but also target particular points according to your personalized needs. You can fall asleep during the session or chat-- it’s up to you!
How does Reflexology feel?
Sessions are meant to be relaxing and pain-free. Sometimes particular reflex points are especially tender. A strong reaction may indicate stimulation and/or tension-release, so working on the reflex is most likely beneficial.
What should I do after a Reflexology session?
Drinking water afterwards is recommended.
REIKI - FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What happens during a typical Reiki session?
Sessions are 60 minutes. You recline on a bed or couch and I do a quick intake regarding any particular areas of concern (health issues/tension areas/emotional challenges). During the session first you lie on your back, and then your stomach (if comfortable for you, if not staying on your back is fine). I place my hands either directly on or above chakra points and channel energy to release any blockages.
How does Reiki feel?
You may feel warmth, energy flow and release, and/or gentle relaxation.
What should I do after a Reiki session?
Drinking water afterwards is recommended.
What is Remote Reiki?
Remote Reiki is Reiki that is sent to you without me being in the same location as you. It is usually done for 10 minutes a couple of times a day, but please contact me regarding your specific needs.
